Demi Lovato releases a new single Anyone
Following its live debut on the 2020 Grammy Awards, Demi Lovato has finally unveiled the studio version of her heart-wrenching new song and first release in a year and a half, called “Anyone.”
The song, which Lovato recently revealed was written days prior to her drug overdose in July 2018, details a feeling of helplessness as she addresses her deepest vulnerabilities.
“I tried to talk to my piano, I tried to talk to my guitar / Talked to my imagination / Confided into alcohol,” she begins, before demands in the chorus, “Lord, is there anyone? / I need someone.”
